Staffing

All the staff at Offord Primary School warmly welcome you to the school and are dedicated to your children’s learning and development. They are available to talk briefly in the morning when you drop your child off or when you collect them at the end of the day. Appointments for a longer conversation can be made through the office. We look forward to working with you.

We have a team of experienced teachers and they are supported by teaching assistants, who can work individually and with groups of children on specific tasks to meet their learning needs.

Our teaching assistants supervise the children at break and lunchtime. They are obviously very familiar with the school and work closely with the teaching staff to ensure that break and lunchtimes are a happy and safe time for all children.

Our cheerful office team can support parents/carers with a range of queries, for example regarding school uniform, admission procedures and applying for Pupil Premium support and Free School Meals.

The headteacher, Mrs Ruddock, is regularly on the school playground at drop-off and pick-up times to talk to parents/carers.
