New Starters Reception Information

We hope that Offord Primary School is your first choice, and would love to welcome your child in to our reception class in September 2022.

Chossing a school for your child is an important decision and it is important that you feel you have all the information to do that. We would strongly encourage you visit schools so you can see for yourself what goes on, feel the school, meet the staff and ask any questions you have.

We would love to meet you and show you round our small, friendly village school. Please get in touch via email or telephone and we can make arrangements for this to happen.

We will be holding tours of the school at 3.30pm on the following dates: (Due to Covid guidance we unfortunately cannot presently hold tours during the working day.)

Information, Meet the Staff & Photo tour of the school

This PowerPoint was created in Summer 2020. It goes over the information that we usually share at the New Parents' Evening.  There is also introduces the key staff and has lots of photos of the school to help get both parents and children prepared for September. Click on the piciture below to access the presentation.

The poster below was created by the EYFS Leads across the schools in The Cam Academy Trust, detailing skills we hope children will be developing on their entry to school. This may provide you with ideas of things you can do over the next few weeks to support your child in preparation for starting school.
