Covid 19 Information

Following the government's announcement on Monday 4th January, Offord Primary School is closed to the majority of pupils until further notice.

The school is providing remote learning for all pupils. Details of which have been sent home to all familes and can be found in the menu on the left.

Remote education is being delivered through a mixture of live lessons by the Offord teaching staff, recorded lessons and off-line learning. Resources have been sent home and regular communication informs parents/carers and children of the learning for each day and week. Purple Mash and Parent Hub are our main forms of communication.

The school is open to educate children of critical workers and vulnerable children on site. These children will be supported by support staff and will follow the same learning as the children that are being educated off-site.  Children must be booked in to attend the school site.

The definition of children of critical workers and vulnerable children can be found here.

A child should be kept a home if at all possble, but if you require a place for on-site learning, please contact the school office via email or telephone to book your days. For children of critical works it is not compulsary to attend site every day.

It remains our intention to support all our children and their families with their learning whether learning on-site or off-site. The safety of our staff, children and families in these difficult times is our priority. The school will be in constant contact with its families to offer support and encouragement while we are following our remote learning curriculum.
